We do all of it — for events, by people who've spent their careers in events.

CDM is led by Caylee Donaldson, who founded the firm in 2024 after a decade leading B2B event marketing in-house. The senior consulting team includes 4-5 partner-level marketers, each with 10+ years of event marketing experience.

The wider bench, the contractors who deliver alongside the senior team, has been hand-picked from inside the event industry. Marketing assistants who've worked at major exhibition organisers. Email and CRM specialists from publishing-led conferences. Campaign managers who've launched senior-audience summits. The bench is the difference between flexible resourcing that's generic and flexible resourcing that's actually fit for events.

Capacity is deliberately tight. We aim to keep CDM at a maximum of 25-30 active engagements at any one time, so the leadership oversight on every account is real, not nominal.

HOW WE WORK IN PRACTICE

​How we rebuilt the rebook funnel on a flagship conference, taking retention from 41% to 68% in twelve months.

The client's flagship B2B conference had hit a ceiling. Strong first-time registration, but rebook had dropped from 58% to 41% in two editions. Finance was asking hard questions. The team knew creative wasn't the problem, the funnel was.

We rebuilt the post-event journey from the ground up. New segmentation in the CRM. A rebook programme that started pre-event, not after. Sponsor retention work run alongside, not separately. Twelve months later, rebook sat at 68, and the team had a system they could run without us.
